Dear MMA: My wife and I received our cards about a month ago and have used them twice. The reaction we received from both health facilities was unbelieveable. We felt like we were being treated as royalty thoughout the entire appoinments. We knew that obtaining our Emergency Medical Alert Cards would make our medical visits easier but never expected the appreciative comments we received for having them. We are sure now that in a time of an Emergency Medical situation we will be prepared to offer sufficient information to our caretakers to help us through our emergency. Dear Bill, I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for such a great idea. I got my Medical Alert ID Card about six months ago and I’ve used it three times already. I had recently moved and so had to find new doctors. It was amazing how much time and aggravation it saved me while just visiting my new doctors. Well, as you suggested, I just handed them my Medical Alert ID Card along with my Medicare and insurance card and that was pretty much it. I hope I never have to use it for a real medical emergency, but it sure is nice knowing I have it and that all my medical info is on it. I have no doubt that in such an emergency it will save my life with all the things I have going on and all the med’s I take, etc. Thank you again for such great little product. My EM Alert card has been very helpful when I see my doctors for consultation or check up. It also came in handy when I had arecent Angiogram procedure (thank God there was no blockage found). The EM alert card lists all my medications on top ofother information about me such as name/dob/contact person & phone/name of my primary care physician/phone, major health problems, allergies, etc. all in one card. Such convenience should be availed of by others, especially seniors like me. I highly recommend it for use of others. And the small price I paid for it was more than worth it.
